David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American journalist as well as anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. His program with its dramatic clips of celebrity gossip on video and animated movements has become the most watched newscast in America. Also, he is known for the Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor of choice for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. Many of his evening ABC News specials include Breaking Point and Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint - Refugees in America. He's traveled all over the world, reporting on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of numerous Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from Associated Press.
